Particular focus on healthcare services (senior housing, nursing homes, hospitals), real estate investments and real estate dependent operating businesses such as hotels, logistics facilities and data centers

Since 2009, Taconic Alliance has pioneered cross-border investment in senior housing and healthcare services in China

In 2010, Chris Alberti co-founded Kai Jian 凯健 (Cascade Healthcare) (www.kaijiancare.com), the first foreign-invested, fully licensed senior care company to successfully open senior care facilities in China. 

Mr. Alberti then served as an advisor and member of the senior management team at Sino-Ocean Land's senior living business (www.chunxuanmao.com) from July 2014 through December 2015, where he successfully turned around their operations from a medical model to a social model combining "lifestyle plus care", opened the first large, international-standards memory care residence in China, negotiated an innovative Sino-Foreign operating alliance with a "top 10" U.S senior living operator, and negotiated a cross border joint venture providing for investment in the U.S operating platform combined with funding for the acquisition of U.S. senior living real estate

Mr. Alberti has worked with major Chinese investment groups to considering the development of large Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs) and other seior living and hospital projects in China.

He has advised a leading Australian private equity group regarding a China entry strategy for their senior living copmpany.

More recently, Mr. Alberti is advising a leading non-profit dental clinical and research institute regarding the establishment of branded joint venture dental hospitals in Beijing and Shanghai.

He has also advised major universities and colleges in the Boston area considering joint ventures in China
